about
Clinicae is a research and development initiative focused on modeling human physiology as a state-dependent system.
The work brings together clinical practice, systems biology, and computational design to better understand variability in biological response and to structure how interventions are selected, timed, and applied.
Rather than introducing new interventions in isolation, Clinicae focuses on the conditions under which existing and emerging interventions succeed or fail.
Work
Current work includes:
development of system-state frameworks
computational modeling of physiology (OPAL)
domain-specific models (e.g., estrogen, bone)
translation into targeted, tissue-level applications (The Vulva Company)
Founder
Clinicae was founded by Dr. Laura Kelly, DAOM.
Her work focuses on understanding how physiology changes in midlife and why standard interventions often produce inconsistent results. Her approach integrates clinical care, research, and product development, with an emphasis on identifying the underlying biological conditions that shape response to treatment. Through Clinicae, she develops frameworks that move beyond single-variable models toward a more integrated view of human physiology.
